FAQ

Common questions

Cedar or vinyl?

Cedar is natural wood that weathers to silver and can be stained. Vinyl is white, never needs paint, and carries the manufacturer’s transferable limited lifetime warranty.

How do I measure my fence?

Measure along the line where the fence will go, including where gates will be. Round up. The length is confirmed with you before anything is built.

Do I need a permit or HOA approval?

Rules vary by city and neighborhood. Please check with your city and HOA before the build; we’re happy to share the fence details you’ll need.

Do you know where my property line is?

No. Your contractor builds where you tell them. If you’re unsure, a licensed surveyor can mark the line.

Can you take out my old fence?

Ask us. We price removal separately after seeing it.
